MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme: the gold standard for increasing the passenger safety and care for close to 30 years.

MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme: the gold standard for increasing the passenger safety and care for close to 30 years. The scheme offers a nationally recognised standard for training and assessing drivers of minibuses to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide safe, legal and comfortable journeys to passengers.

We are an approved MiDAS Driver Training Centre with 2 qualified DAT assessor/trainers who can offer bespoke training courses, either at our HQ in Ashington or whether you would like us to come to you, we offer it all.

So, whether you are small voluntary organisation with one vehicle or a local authority with a large fleet, get in touch with kim@watbus.org.uk who can tell you more about the Standard and Accessible training courses we offer.

Some of the organisations who have accessed this training include Collingwood School, Lynemouth Daycentre, and St Oswald’s Hospice.
