Volunteer Minibus Drivers
We are always on the look-out for volunteers to drive our minibus to support our work in the community. These roles include supporting Voluntary & Community sector organisations (VCSO) to access their activities and events, cycle transport and any other community-based activity that Is needed in South East Northumberland and the surrounding areas.
As well as driving, the role involves supporting passengers on and off the vehicle and helping take their shopping to the door.
Volunteering is very rewarding which can vary from a few hours a month to several hours a week, depending on the time you have available.
This role requires a DBS check and a category D1 on your driving licence.
Volunteer Car Drivers to support our Out & About scheme
We are looking for volunteers to help drive people to and from medical appointments, Hair dressing or even shopping.
There are no set hours or days required. You can express your interest and let us know your availability. We will then call if support is required. A flexible volunteering role. Perfect opportunity for people not wishing to commit to regular hours and times.
A DBS check is required for this role.
